Moorhen (gallinula chloropus)

Another common british bird which is often overlooked but which to my eye is very attractive. This individual was found in the 'African' section at the WWT reserve at Slimbridge and after displaying only its rump for some period of time it eventually settled down and posed very graciously for me.
