An unusual threesome!

This is the first time I have ever managed to capture a Grey Heron, Little Egret and a Curlew on one frame. In fact I would go so far as to say that I am 99.9% certain that this will be the only time in my life that I will ever see this sight through the viewfinder. This was a unique image taken when I decided to stop off for a quick visit to a local tidal creek on the way home from work. The old maxim of always having a camera to hand stood me in good stead on this occasion.
