Red Kites must be one of the greatest conservation success stories of our age, certainly in Britain.
Dedicated protection of a mere handful of birds in Mid-Wales has literally brought it back from the edge of extinction. It is now an almost guaranteed sighting when driving through Mid-wales and is becoming more and more commonly seen in South and West Wales.
