Common Frog (rana temporaria)

Common Frog (rana temporaria)

Although common in name these well known amphibians are not as widespread as they once were.
The destruction of many wild places and ponds combined with polluted waterways has led to a decrease in numbers.
Fortunately, the current gardening trend of creating 'water features' and small ponds may be the saving of the frog.
