Mustelids

This family includes otters, badgers, stoats, polecats, weasels and martens. They are all (with probably the exception of the badger) extremely efficient hunters and represent my favourite family of animals. They are generally small, fast and mainly nocturnal so photographing them is always difficult.

All images in this gallery are of wild animals and have been taken in their natural environment. All due care has been taken to ensure that no animal has been put under any stress whilst the photographs were being taken.
